We are looking for an EHS Compliance Manager, to join our Supply Chain Excellence team!

As EHS Compliance Manager, you will be part of the group wide QEHS team. In this new role you will be establishing company wide Environmental and H&S management systems, processes, ways of working and continuously improve the company’s performance within these areas. 


The role includes the following responsibilities: 

Vision and Goals:

  • Develop company wide EHS objectives, targets and KPI’s and establish EHS programs/roadmaps in line with ethical principles, policies and strategies. 

  • Responsible for establishing, developing and driving implementation of the company wide EHS management system, including tools/ methods, and ensure harmonization and compliance – this includes overall responsibility of the IMS system as well as procedures and documents required by EHS management systems and legal aspects.

  • Aligns, support, coordinate, drives and follow up an efficient implementation of PG EHS polices, strategies, plans across the whole company

  • Responsible for establishing, developing and driving the EHS compliance monitoring process, implementation and follow up within the whole group

Continuous improvement:

  • Responsible for initiate, coordinate and drive implementation and follow up results for EHS improvement programs & projects in line with company wide EHS programs & targets

  • Monitor and propose implementation plan for management system, legislation or stakeholders requirements changes

  • Support operations and logistics in implementing and continuously improve EHS standards to achieve PG objectives and targets.

  • Responsible for company wide competence development and training within EHS area 

  • Lead company wide EHS forums and community teams, as a method to follow up and support harmonization and CI work of the agreed plans/roadmaps


What we appreciate:

  • Experience of working in an international company

  • Stakeholder management 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to interpret and implement EHS legislation affecting different countries

  • Experience in planning and performing audits within EHS

  • University degree in relevant field

  • Fluent written and spoken English. Other company languages are seen as an asset.

The job is permanent and located in our modern head office in Vuosaari, Helsinki.
