Creative, Planning & Digital Director

We are looking for a Creative, Planning & Digital Director to join Strategy, Marketing and Innovations business function and lead Creative, Planning & Digital team! The position is permanent and located in our modern headquarters in Vuosaari roastery. 

The purpose of the role is to raise the overall level of creative marketing communication at Paulig in order to ensure internationally loved and valued brands that can travel across markets and categories. This will be achieved by leading Paulig’s creative planning and development of the marketing communication, optimizing media buying and analytics as well as the ownership of the digital agenda (strategy and execution) in close collaboration with the SMI management team.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Leading the creative development of all Paulig branded marketing communication including packaging and pack design development, visual shelf solutions for retail in collaboration with brand portfolio managers.
  • Lead overall Paulig marketing communication planning.
  • The overall planning and buying of media in close collaboration with the key stakeholders within marketing.
  • Leading all the key marketing partnerships.
  • The overall digital strategy and its execution, creating the required efficient platforms and setting up the governance and digital infrastructure.
  • Manage and develop digital capabilities & our technical platforms (collaboration with IT), process and analytics.
  • Coordinating the digital media portfolio and creating master content and communication material.
  • Leading and developing the e-commerce channel in terms of own channels and visual identity and marketing toolbox for the customer channels.
  • Create the required capabilities and competencies and ensure optimal organizational development in order to deliver on the Paulig strategy.
  • Leading a team of 5 direct reports.
  • Act as a role model and promote the common Paulig culture and collaboration within Paulig.

What we appreciate:

  • At least 10 years’ experience in senior management roles within brand marketing & communication, creative planning and media buying
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal & collaborative skills 
  • International experience & international mindset 
  • Relevant Master’s Degree (preferably in business administration or equivalent) and strong business acumen
  • Consumer and customer minded
  • Fluency in spoken and written English

Some travelling is included in the role. In this role, you report to SVP, Strategy, Marketing and Innovations Tina Andersson.
