European Marketing Manager to Santa Maria Flavouring

At Paulig Foods we are looking for a European Marketing Manager to a permanent position within our central marketing team based out of Mölndal, Sweden. Your main responsibly is the profitability and growth of Santa Maria in flavouring categories across Europe.

As European Marketing Manager you are responsible for creating and implementing strategies and plans to achieve the vision of your categories in line with Paulig Group and Paulig Foods strategies. You will be working in a creative and professional environment where the passion for great taste unites us!

Your responsibilities are:

  • Profitability and growth of brand and category across markets (net net sales & GC2)
  • Category vision and growth strategy (3-5 years)
  • Overall growth roadmap, including:
    • Portfolio management & development including simplifying, delisting and harmonizing product portfolio including geographical roll-out and value engineering activities.
    • Delivering on overall sustainability strategy through portfolio development.
    • 8-12Q funnel: Renovating the core & Innovation
    • Marketing mix (4 Ps) for category:
      • Communication development for category.
      • Manage product and concept budget for category as well as allocation of category specific A&P / market or bet.
      • Price setting

As part of the division's MT for marketing and R&D you will manage the overall growth and brand strategy for the division. You will also build and develop World Class Marketing within Division (marketing competence - consumer first).

You are able to manage a team of four direct reports (managers and specialist).

Key accountabilities:

  • Create category vision and strategies for further growth of the category.
  • Develop roadmaps
  • Deliver complete marketing mix for the category that builds the brand equity
  • Meet the financial targets of the category
  • Lead and develop your team

We think you have a passion for food and flavouring!

Education: Degree in marketing, business administration or equivalent.

Experience & knowledge: Minimum 5 to 8 years marketing experience from a medium to large FMCG company with at least 3-5 years in brand/product management. Proven successful leader with positive managerial track record in a FMCG environment of at least five years. Fact based and analytical abilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Language skills: Fluent both in written and spoken English and Swedish.

This is a permanent position, starting as soon as possible. You will be based in our office in Mölndal. Apart from the amazingly inspiring office spaces, you’ll also find our own TASTE restaurant, an inspiring cooking studio, a modern sensoric testing room and a spacious and well-equipped innovation kitchen.
